Description:
[Leonard Bernstein (1918.8.25-1990.10.14) was a star conductor who shared popularity with Karajan in the 20th century.) His passionate, emotionally charged, and soulful performances drew the sympathies of many, and he was loved by many with a charismatic following. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, a limited edition of 50 titles will be released in UHQCD format with green color label coating and other sound quality-oriented specifications. The Symphony No. 3, which uses the three-note motif "F-As-F," taken from the initial letters of Brahms' favorite phrase "Frei aber froh (freely but joyfully)" as the basic motive that unifies the entire work, won the 1983 Record Academy Grand Prize. This is Bernstein's second recording of the complete symphonies. The rich and romantic performance, in which the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra sings to its heart's content, is full of the persuasive power that only this duo can deliver.
