Little is known about Webber's life and career, but he played theorbo in Handel's orchestra and is credited with teaching mandolin to Princess Amelia, who appears on the cover in a portrait painted by Philippe Mercier around 1733.Davide Ferrera, born in 1992 in L'Aquila, Italy, studied with Fabio Giudice at the Conservatory of Casella and at the Conservatory of Verdi.He studied with Fabio Giudice at the Accademia Musicale Casella and with Dorina Frati at the Accademia Musicale Verdi, graduating with honors. He has collaborated with some of Italy's leading opera houses, including La Scala in Milan and the Teatro dell'Opera Municipale in Bologna.An avid scholar and researcher, Ferrera is also dedicated to the rediscovery and revitalization of the 17th and 18th century mandolin repertoire.Tokyo M-Plus
