The Black-on-Black Knken.

In 1978, Fjllrven released the Knken backpack to prevent back problems for Swedish school children, and since then it has become a classic knapsack, helping maintain healthy backs from Scandinavia to San Francisco. The black-on-black monochrome colourway of the Knken No. 2 is made of rugged, double-waxed G-1000 HeavyDuty and has an inside back pocket in G-1000 Lite fabric. This construction makes this backpack extremely durable, and it can be coated with Greenland Wax to improve its weather protective seal and lifespan. The main compartment houses the majority of its 16L storage capacity and has a removable padded seat for a back panel in the durable G-1000 fabric. The exterior features two flat side pockets and a zippered front pocket for essential items. The top of the pack has leather carrying handles that snap-closed with a button and the shoulder straps are durable, adjustable and padded for carrying comfort.
